Dear colleagues, we present to you news of the restaurant "Vаниль".
Restaurant «Vаниль» - one of the most successful restaurants in Moscow. For many years, «Vаниль» remains one of the main secular places of the capital. This year, the restaurant once again become a party to an international gastronomic festival «FASHION FOOD».
The festival will be held 1 to June 15 twenty of the best restaurants in Moscow.
The idea of a festival born in Belgium, seven years ago. During this time «FASHION FOOD» became the most important gastronomic event.
«FASHION FOOD» is the most current trends in gourmet market, a bright palette of unusual flavor combinations and the art of design and serving dishes. «FASHION FOOD» its dish fashionable consumers, for those who really know how to enjoy eating.
Especially for the festival, Chef «Vанили» — creme de la creme — Kamel Benamar, made delicious menu. Among the gastronomic delights that will be presented at the festival, you can taste: wild rice with fresh mushrooms and soya beans, raspberry cheesecake with passion fruit sauce and a cocktail of ice cream.

Winter is coming, but we are still waiting for summer. Exactly because in summer the city is full of crispy and blossoming scents, pleased smiles and opening summer porches, which let us forget about daily troubles.
There is the great way to hide out from dull bustle at «Vаниль»`s summer porch, being at the same time in the really heart of megapolis. The great way to enjoy the incredible view, sitting in the cosy armchair and drinking the summer cocktail, while the hot day is flooding around you, or wrapped yourself warm in rug in the fresh evening breath in humid air of the streets, sitting in the good company.
- 10.05 the summer porch of restaurant «Vаниль» opens its doors for beloved and always waited guests.
- 20.05 takes place the official opening and the special programm.
Beautiful flowers, summer exotic food, cooked by famous chef Kamel Ben Amar and, sure, the special guest arrived from the sunny Marseilles, Didier Liquidsun with the exclusive DJ-set. And it is only part of the programm!
Born in Marseille in the South of France, Didier AKA Liquidsun bought his first turntable at the age of 15 and has nurtured his love for electronic music ever since.
In 2000, after some significant technological advances, Liquidsun moved to London and spent four years playing some of the funkiest bars and clubs in this lively city: Orange, Ghetto, The White House, Yo Sushi Soho, The Dog Star, The Telegraph and The Living Room to name a few
While in London Liquidsun met the Moreno Brothers, who he worked with to create the track Summertime, who was after release on the label atlantic jaxx own by the Basement jaxx. In 2004 he took himself and his music to Montreal for a year and performed in bars and clubs on the famous St Laurent Street: Buona notte, Montreal Tapas Lounge (Resident) and Tokyo Bar. Montreal was also the setting where Liquidsun composed the tracks Ghostmitique, Say What You’re Able and Popcycool, with Canadian musician Gilles Maillet.
Since 2005 Liquidsun has lived in Sydney, Australia and has been the Resident DJ for Parisian Grooves Industrie bar, as well as playing Sapphire, Bungalow 8, Barclay, burdekin, mars lounge, Famous "White party" and currently resident The Lincoln in King cross.
16/03/2010 : «Вертинский»: Dim Sum menu
Nice changes, according first rays of timid spring sun, are taking place in the «Вертинский» restaurant.
Chef invented for you special Dim Sum menu. In addition, every week-end you can enjoy the special prices for traditional chinese tea ceremony in the «Вертинский» restaurant.
Translating from Chinese into English «Dim Sum» means "heartly move". Dimsums are slight snacks, which are laid out on separate saucers and served by cup of black tea.
Notice our special dumplings with salmon, shrimps and scallops. They are made of starch pastry with shrimp, salmon and scallop filling and cooked on the steam bath. They adorn this incredible dumplings with flying fish and coriander and serve it with nuts sauce. You also ought to check out fried dumplings "SAMOSA" with shrimp meat and spring onions cooked of the special pastry on the basis of wheat flour, which are first stuffed by shrimp meat filling, spring Shalota onions and spices, then slightly fried and served with Thai piquant sauce.
You will enjoy also fried dumplings with crab meat. Crab meat filling with daikon and spices is covered by pastry in form of knapsack and tied up by thin band of nori seaweed. After that dumplings are deep-fried and served with mayonnaise sauce tossed in wasabi and seaweeds.
Shanghai steam dumplings "Xiao Long Bao" (520 roubles) made of pork, celery cabbage and spices. They are cooked on the steam bath and are tossed in the incredible sauce, which includes ginger and black vinegar, mixed up with Sichuan sauce.

New spring menu in the «Вертинский» restaurant:
Chinese cuisine:
Notice the special series of fried rolls in hot snacks. Fried rolls with chicken meat and asparagus, served with balmy sauce teriyaki (600 roubles for plate) and fried beef rolls with enoki mushrooms, served with "NAM CHIN" sauce. There is the new plate also in the list of vegeterian dishes, you will enjoy fried Tofu with stewed vegetables and cedar nuts (680 roubles).
There are novelties in the Dim Sum chapter. Shanghai steam dumplings "Xiao Long Bao" (520 roubles) made of pork, celery cabbage and spices. They are cooked on the steam bath and are tossed in the incredible sauce, which includes ginger and black vinegar, mixed up with Sichuan sauce. Fried dumpings with Shanghai Pork (550 roubles) are cooked on the steam bath of white cabbage, pork and spices and are slightly fried. They are served with sauce made of black vinegar, ginger and piquant sauce.

Russian cuisine:
Anastasija Vertinskaja prepared for you several new dishes in this season.
"Mimosa" salad with slightly salted Atlantic salmon (360 roubles) is indeed the classical dish. History of this dish begins in the USSR. Croped up in 1970s, "Mimosa" salad promptly won hearts and tables belonging to every inhabitants of our immense country.
There is one more novelty - Fennel salad with pears and Dor-Blue (360 roubles), one of unique recepes by Anastasija. Slices made of fennel and pears, tossed in special sauce containing olive oil and Dijon mustard, and Dor-Blue laying side by side, adorned with frisee salad and rukkola.
One more new dish - cooked on the steam bath zander tossed in pumpkin pips and potato Croquette (850 roubles).
